Social Distancing & Working Remotely

Updated from the original post.  Since the early days of the pandemic that started with us in 2020 and is still following us a few years later.  Work from Home or Remote work, whichever you choose to call it has just gotten stronger and more widely accepted.  The work from home option has gotten so desirable that many workers are now choosing work from home options over office environments.  So much so that they if given a choice they would quit if forced to go back to the office.  See As The Pandemic Recedes, Millions Of Workers Are Saying ‘I Quit‘.

So if you have to work whenever possible do so remotely (telecommute) and be safe.

So we want to discuss something that is not that new for many of you there.  It’s called telecommuting or working remotely.  It’s a great way of working for many who do not have a need to be at a store, desk, or in a group space like an office.  Because like the terminology suggests.  You the worker will telecommute or via computers, you will do your work anywhere that you can access at least the internet and a computer to perform your job.  There are many other ways of working remotely, but for this discussion what we are going to discuss.

You say but I have too many tech issues when I work remotely.

Yes, sometimes working remotely can be challenging.  Everything from slower internet connections, to the inability to easily and securely share files with your team.  This can make remote work frustrating that you just don’t want to do it.

But it doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive to have a remote work solution in place.  One that would allow you and your staff to work remotely as needed.

Another reason for remote work solutions

The current health crisis aside there could be many other reasons that putting remote working solutions in place can help with.  Seasonal bad weather, storms, snow or power outages, or fires to name a few.   None of these should keep you from operating your business.

Choosing the right remote work solution for your business.

First, don’t try to become a technology expert if the technology is not the main focus of your business.  Work with partners like Slick Cyber Systems which can guide you to the best solution for your business needs.

Not all solutions are right for every business, and that’s why working with a solutions provider can review your needs and provide professional solutions that will keep your business up and running so you can concentrate on business.  Not the tech or the issues you had in the past with all the tech.

Still, got questions about how you can work remotely?

Slick Cyber Systems can get your business on track to working more efficiently with the right tech solutions to meet your needs.
