Microsoft finally fixes these Teams issues

If there’s one thing that can quickly disrupt a busy workday, it’s a messaging app that doesn’t behave the way you expect.

Microsoft Teams is a powerful tool that millions of businesses rely on every day to stay connected and collaborate. But even the best tools can have small frustrations that slow things down.

For many users, a few long-standing quirks in Teams have been a constant source of annoyance.

The good news? Microsoft is listening.

Based on user feedback, Microsoft continues to improve Teams—and some long-awaited updates are finally here.

More Control Over the Enter Key

One of the most useful updates is a simple but impactful change: you can now choose what the Enter key does.

Previously, pressing Enter would automatically send your message—often leading to accidental, half-finished replies.

Now, you’ll have the option to use Enter to create a new line instead, giving you more control over how you compose messages.

Forward Multiple Messages at Once

Another welcome improvement is the ability to forward multiple messages at the same time.

In the past, Teams only allowed you to forward one message at a time, making it difficult to share full context in conversations.

With this update, you can now select and forward up to five messages from a chat or channel in one go—saving time and improving communication clarity.

Small Changes, Big Impact

While these updates may seem minor, they eliminate everyday friction for teams that rely heavily on messaging.

And when communication is central to your business operations, even small improvements can make a meaningful difference in productivity.

If you’d like help optimizing Microsoft Teams or making sure your Microsoft 365 environment is working efficiently for your business, we’re here to help. Get in touch today.
